About

It’s the break of dawn. Overcast. A considerable breeze flows across the hills. A girl sneaks out of her house, with an odd-looking backpack. She races up the hill, climbs atop a tree, and sits on a branch, staring at the sky. Patient, waiting, eager. Her hair flutters, the slightest ray breaks through the clouds. Her eyes light up, her heart races. A camera emerges from her backpack. A glare from the lens, like a message to the heavens themselves.

“It is this moment. The perfect moment frozen in time. Once it’s gone, it’s lost forever. It is this moment one seeks to capture. One that will be treasured for years to come. Like a memory you have forever.”

Having chosen engineering as a career, I knew I would have to struggle to make time for my passions. It’s been a long time coming, but I’m finally here. Past all the professional commitments and social responsibilities, one must find time for themselves. My free time is spent exploring the world with my lens and the willingness to walk an extra mile. I have always loved traveling, exploring places that people never knew existed, finding beauty in simplest of activities. It is my way of saying “thank you” to everyone who makes this world of ours turn. My love affair with art began years ago. That translated into being at both sides of the image. Behind it, clicking, as well as in front of it, posing. Both roles have their allure, and I’ve never been able to choose one. It’s a good problem to have, I guess.

My name is Madhura, and this is my journey.

P.S. In case that was a little “TL; DR” for you, what it means is “wanderlust, wander, must.”
